Prototype-to-Test

Welcome to DP1 and to Session #3!

Building on our ideation and visualization work from yesterday, we dive right into rapid prototyping today. In doing so, we prepare ourselves to test our newly designed daily rituals and routines!

Recommended Supplies:

  • Pen (or mechanical pencil)

  • Sharpie ( fine point )

  • Paper ( standard LTR / A4 )

  • Basic office supplies or craft materials for rapid prototyping ( see suggestions below )

For Rapid Prototyping:

A typical list of DT-style rapid prototyping supplies includes: sticky notes, markers, tape, stickers, scissors… and sometimes things like binder clips or paper clips, string, paper cups/plates/straws, popsicle sticks, foil, cardboard, index cards, etc.

No need to worry if you don’t have a complete list of such supplies. Usually, with a little ingenuity, you can leverage whatever you can find around you to quickly mockup your new concept(s).
